Welcome to Monofin Mermaids! We're a specialist mermaid swim school based in Hastings, East Sussex, and the surrounding areas. We teach competent swimmers aged 7 and over to swim and move like a mermaid, whilst wearing an actual mermaid tail! Yes, your dreams of becoming a mermaid can actually come true!
We're a team of qualified swim teachers, lifeguards, and PADI Instructors. We'd like you to know that a mermaid tail is not a toy, but a sporting piece of equipment. Our school offers a safe and controlled environment for our students to learn the basics of 'mermaiding'. We offer monthly mermaid experience classes, hen do's and birthday parties. We've also been known to host the odd stag do! Ooh la la.
Our student's safety is paramount to us. We insist that all students are competent and confident swimmers. To participate all students must be able to meet our, swim requirement skills. With the correct guidance, support and care 'mermaiding' is the ultimate fantasy, a magical adventure that fulfils your childhood dreams. F&Q’S Below.
